Assembly was easier than I anticipated. It’s a fantastic machine for the price. The versatility almost matches the similar machines at the gym at 1/3 of the cost.

We get great workouts with this machine. We have a low (6’9’’) ceiling in the basement and this machine fits perfectly. Well built and easy to put together.

I’ve owned this machine for about 2 months now (purchased from Costco). A couple weeks ago, one of the cables began to fray. Emailing Centr customer service, they were able to get a set of replacement cables shipped to me under warranty for free in about a week, which was actually quite impressive. Unfortunately, overall support for the Centr 2 was lacking beyond this. Customer support directed me toward a low-quality 3rd party Youtube video for instructions on how to replace the cable. Those instructions were, quite franky, asinine, as it tells you to remove a ball without giving good guidance on how to do so. The ball is hell to remove, and the video downplays the difficulty. I never successfully removed it. I eventually figured out that threading the cable starting from the non-ball end is so much easier/intuitive.Strike #2 was with how Centr assembled the machine itself. To get access to the pulleys (which must be loosened to replace the cable), you need to remove 2 metal plates up top (where the Centr logo is) using an allen wrench. The screws used to fix the plate were clearly overtorqued by machine. I had to use a rubber mallet on the allen wrench to loosen each screw, and several stripped in the process. One screw failed to unscrew altogether, but thankfully I was able to turn the metal plate at that point since I managed to loosen the others.Similar to the plate screws, the nuts/bolts used for the actual pulleys were overtorqued and impossible to hand-loosen with the provided tools. Given their awkward position, I couldn’t use a rubber mallet either. In the end, I had to break out an impact driver powertool to loosen those nuts.Dear Centr, STOP OVERTORQUING THE SCREWS, especially as doing so serves 0 purpose. People are going to have a time if/when it’s time to replace the cables. My last complaint: the 1-year subscription for the Centr fitness app doesn’t actually have any workout programs that use the Centr 2. They only have Centr 1 videos. This harkens back to my point about inadequate support for the Centr 2.Beside this, the machine itself is actually pretty high-quality and feels durable. Fully assembled, it does not rock nor creak under load. The cables are quiet and smooth. I’m not actually sure why one began to fray, but hopefully it’s an isolated incident.

Was on the fence on this piece due to the lack of reviews but when it dropped to $699 at Costco I had to give it a try.Honestly, great machine. Assembly was easy, though one minor, and I mean minor piece, doesn’t fit flush. The 165lb weight stack (82.5 per handle) is more than enough for functional trainer movements, and boy is everything smooth. Definitely would recommend.

Bought this on Walmart, this thing has nowhere near the range of motion as shown in the videos. Every movement the weight stack slams to the top before you complete the rep.
