It was pretty easy to install and directions were easy to follow. We did have some difficulty with changing our old light fixture mount style to a more modern one because the house was built in 2008, but we were able to figure out how to hang it. I think we ended up using some other parts that were not included.

I used the light fixture in my remodeled kitchen. I was extremely pleased with its appearance and the functionality. The lighting it provides is suitable for living room, bedroom and dining areas. Recommend it highly.

The instructions aren’t exactly step by step like you’re putting together Legos, honestly after skimming them I didn’t use them. There’s a nut the wires go through and into the base, unscrewed that for access to the nuts and washers that secure the arms to the base, you can position the sockets up or down at this point. Then just screw that first nut to close up the base, pick the length or rod you need, slip the wires through it, then take the articulating mounting piece and slip the wires through that. At any point you need to install the flat mounting plate to the ceiling electrical box. The hardest part was holding the entire light fixture while connecting the wires from the light to the wires from the house with the provided wire nuts. Best to have a second person. It’s not really heavy, but it took a couple minutes of holding it while I got the wires into a position I could install the wire nuts on while not having full use of one hand. All in all, an easy install that once you look at it, is self explanatory, except for the flat mounting plate, that kinda depends on what you have installed on your house, but I’m sure most are very similar.

I was hesitant to get this light fixture since ot was so much cheaper than others. I did have trouble with the installation since the directions were very vague. I did watch the video for part of the install, but the video ended before the actual install in the ceiling. The light is very pretty and simple. I love how it turned out. Definitely looks more elegant than the price I paid.
