I bought these for a project car that doesnt get driven much and has a slow drain. This made the disconnecting process much easier. Not that loosening a bolt is hard, but if youve done it long enough you know the bolts tend to find their way into the lead on the standard connectors, get boogered up, and the connector itself gets stressed and cracks. These probably will over time, but again, more simple. Also good for projects and boats because of the accessory wire mounts. Cleans up the look a bit, and beats having a stack of eyelet connectors sandwiched behind the normal nut or bolt lol.Would recommend using locktite on those bolts and the main wire clamping bolts though. They seem like they will back out with vibration kinda easy.

These things are awesome. We have several vehicles that don’t get much use and of course the electronics pull down the battery over time. Easy disconnect after you’re finished using it. The tab may break when you tighten it down, but it doesn’t affect functionality. Maybe how it works or something to look into. Got a kit for my uncles truck last year. I just ordered 3 more. I put this one on my 93 Super Coupe. I drive it every now and then. It needs some work.

I have an older vehicle and my battery terminal connections were crap! They basically would move around while hitting bumps in the road and eventually not be snug on my battery anymore. This lead to issues on start up. I would constantly have to open the hood to readjust the connector.I got this to fix this problem, and it did just that. You can be afraid to work with wires if you are going to buy this though, Fair warning! It was easy enough to snip the old connectors off, then strip some of the wire-cover and get it into these new connectors. Just cut off the minimum you need to get off the old connectors, and it should in most cases work.Once I got the wires properly on the new connectors, it was super easy to mount, and adjust the quick release levers to be nice and snug. Since then I have not had connectivity issues. For me it is a bit overkill, as I this connector was actually designed for people who need to add extra connections to the battery. Each connector has about 2 more slots for wire (like if you were doing something with the sound system where you need a separate wire to the battery). Its cool that I can do that now, but I never will. All that was important is that it was nice and snug, and its easy to take on and off while servicing my vehicle.Well worth it to me.

Better than what the previous owner had on my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 V10 8.0L.Seems convenient enough for adding/removing secondary connections.. only down side was that the primary clamp was too big for my negative cable, as it has a cut in on both sides of the clamp for larger gauge cables, so I just turned the top part upside down and the ridge meant for separating the two secondary top attachments dug into my primary cable, thus locking it into place securely.A little modification required, but all in all well worth the money and the no hassle twist lock is so much better than a fussing with a socket and possibly arching something 🤷🏼♀️

At first this one looked Promising. I liked the quick release concept and the Additional terminals. It even comes with a battery terminal and connector cleaner, which is kind of Cool . The terminal ends in shrink crap they provide are garbage. I went to install this yesterday and realized the Fit on my battery with the quick connect for my application wasn’t gonna work out as good as I thought . If your battery mounts by itself with nothing nearby, then no big deal but I had to shoot my cables out the sides which the quick connects don’t work. It’s not like you can flip them over if you wanted to so that was my first issue then moving onto the auxiliary connectors , the screws are very small which require very small connectors which then in effect require small cables . If anybody knows automotive electrical, you don’t want baby cables go into your battery bigger hence the name of the big three upgrade . Still trying to make it work and plan out my installation then I realize that the primary cable mount is just a clamp for bare wire With two screws. Now, maybe if you are using some aluminum copper clad cable it’s softer so it might squish down when you tighten the screws but when you’re using Real copper Cable, I started tightening it down and it snapped. After all, this, I still was considering finding a way to make it work, but I gave up and frustrated by this cheap imported junk that Amazon is selling these days. Reminds me of wish dot com, allibabba, temu quality. So I’m gonna return it my money back and buy something a little more Tried and true. Good old-fashioned copper terminal with a half inch nut & Carriage bolt with one big threaded stud. For me to put some big boy cables on.

While I did appreciate the ease of installation of these onto the battery itself, the cable ends that you clamp on to the wires are too small for the 1/0 gauge wire common in most batteries. If you were to buy this pack, you would get the one without the cable ends and purchase those separately. The shrink wrap and cable ends were entirely too small and flimsy for the intended use.Otherwise, I like the ease of being able to clamp and unclamp the terminal to the battery itself, without tools.I do recommend this as a standalone, just don’t expect too much if you buy the entire kit.
