Couldn’t change between floor, vents, defrost. Couldn’t adjust temp settings. Couldn’t use AC, rear defrost.This fixed everything perfectly. Hopefully it holds up.

Being a mechanic I have used countless Dorman products at work, now that it comes the time to repair my personal vehicle I chose to use this product assuming the warranty would be the same as all other times I have used them. Product worked for about 2 months and now the drivers side a/c does not work while the passenger side blows ice cold proving an issue in the module, tested the resistances in the pin outs for the module and it is indeed faulty showing OL for the drivers side temperature control. Contacted customer service and even though it is their store on Amazon they choose to use amazons return window rather then their own warranty card which is linked in the description of the product. Disappointed in dormans customer service.

My old LEDs burnt up a line that connected the other LEDs and I could not fix. Just ended up getting a new unit. New knobs and no scratches. Expensive for the unit. EBay and then swap the PCB board is what I should have done.

Made of cheep plastic. Buttons stick, fan speed selection doesn’t work and zone selct is wrong.First off what should tip you off that this product is poor is that the port to plug the power into the truck has a piece of tape over it that when removed voids the warranty. So to test to see if it even turns on you lost the warranty. The instructions are awful and after doing their programming set up 4 times the unit still does not work. The 20 year old plastic from gm has a better quality then this junk. The recirculation and AC button both get stuck. And all of the zone selection is filp flopped I.E you select windshield and you get foot well. You select footwear you get torso vent. Just don’t buy. Save your money. Go to a gm dealer with a reputable parts house and get what you really need.
