Even though I ended up NOT suing this item and deciding it wasn’t worth sending it back (postage and 20% restocking fee) I have to admit it is really well made. All three opening seemed round. The seams were clean and solid. Can’t imagine when I’ll use it but if I do I know it’ll be up to the task.

Very high quality part, in fairly heavy gauge metal. Well made. Would buy again without hesitation. With the dual equally curved angled branches, it provides much better (and equal) flow, than the typical cheap “wye” duct that you’d find at a “big box” store.

The box wasnt dented or scratched at all which is why I was surprised to find a smashed y duct when i opened it. It was obviously packaged that way. I hope I can bend it straight enough to fit because its a really right connection and I really needed a fitting that was straight. I dont have time tonwait on a replacement so I will try to make this substandard part work
