The Gym Keg is truly huge. We got the blue one and my husband has been carrying it to work almost daily for a couple of months. He works in manufacturing around molding machines and it can get upwards of 100 degrees F inside the work area during the summer. He loves it!The PROS: It is made of strong, thick plastic which should hold up for a couple of years, at least. The screw on top is leak proof. The handle is strong and makes this thing easy to pick up and lug around when need be. I can also see the strap being a bonus on walking day trips.The CONS: The closure at the top snaps into place and you just press the button to release it. There is no lock, so it could get hit by accident and open on it’s own in a bag or when falling over onto something. We are not a big fan of the straw design and I personally like to drink out of it without the straw. And, lastly, the sleeve doesn’t do much. It doesn’t insulate the bottle, but it might make it easier for some people to pick it up. Also, if you like your bottle full of ice for cold water, this bottle won’t keep it cold for long, AND it sweats.TIP FOR MANUFACTURER: If you could make a bottle this size in a double walled version, it would be in a class all it’s own!Overall, The Keg holds a lot of liquid and is made of quality materials. Would definitely recommend!

The gym keg water bottle keeps me motivated to drink more water throughout the day. The description of the product says hand wash only, but on the box that it came in, it said dishwasher safe. So, I tried out the dishwasher, and it washed just fine for me. I don’t know how many more washes it can last in the dishwasher, but I have a lot of water bottles as it is, so if this one gets destroyed it’s not a big deal for me. I would recommend this water bottle to a friend.

this one is way bigger than i expected but it does its job pretty well. i use it every day for the gym or my workouts and as a daily reminder to drink water!! it disassembles easily to clean and it is really not that hard to hand wash it (i don’t use a dishwasher) the sleeve doesn’t really insulate the bottle but it does work nice as storage.

Fantastic water bottle is you’re on a mission to get your daily water in. Large capacity and easy to carry around. The reminder timeline is actually a good motivator. However, after about a month of daily use, the latch that secures the top literally just fell off. Since this is what keeps it from leaking, it is no longer of must use for me. If I take it in the car that way, it falls over and gets water everywhere. Very disappointed, because otherwise this was one of my favorite water bottles.

I like everything about this item. It comes with all the accessories to clean it. I also like the cover bag where you can store small items like keys or parking ticket. My only complaint is that the cap opens by pushing a button, and I’ve used it for 2 weeks and the button is starting to get wonky. You have to press it at an angle for the top to open. I hope it doesn’t break.

Great Bottle and not only for gym use. The size of 2.2L gives you plenty space for your drink or watter but also if full remember this will be over 2Kg of weight but also it comes with strap and you can carry it easy over your shoulder. The top mount has handle that means you can carry it over shoulder or in hand. The bottle is protected with fine finish sleeve and has pocket for phone or some small bits. The inner part is designed with straw which will jump out once you open the top lid ( strongly not recommended to use it upside down with straw as it will leak and it is not designed to use it this way) overall fantastic bottle and BPA free plastic. Price at the time of review £24.99. Recommended thank you.

Large Drinking Water Container
This is a large water container at about two litres in volume. This is not something that I will routinely be carrying about with me. I am more likely to take it to a workplace or gym (it is of course called a gym keg) if I am going to be spending a lot of time there, or to put it in the car for a day out. The shoulder strap and the handle mean that you have options for carrying it, but I just don’t think I would want to carry it too far. Having one of these with you is making some sort of statement that is not subtle. The keg has volume markings on one side in oz and ml so you can track your water consumption, and on the other side there are motivational statements like ‘keep chugging’ which I could personally do without. It is a solid container so unlikely to break and there is a guard over the catch at the top so it should not open accidentally and spill. The screw top also seals it well. The sleeve around it is elastic and seems fairly tough and the shoulder strap with its shoulder strap attaches securely to the sleeve. The shoulder strap length is adjustable, but even at its longest is not that long. The keg is advertised as having a phone holder and there is a pocket in the sleeve that could potentially accommodate a phone. However, it is very tight, and I would not want to keep a phone there. The straw inside means that you can drink without tipping it up. All in all, this is a good water container when you need a lot of water with you.
