I’ve used stuff like this a few times (Polar Pure) for Boy Scout trips and never had any issues, but this was the first time using this brand. Works pretty well, but keep in mind it will stain things like clothes, skin, and it even stained my Hydrapak Seeker, though I didn’t really mind since there was no real damage. It’s a small bottle but it can purify 25 liters of water, so it’s very easy for traveling/camping with.Also, this stuff for whatever reason will give you the most vivid and wild dreams you’ve ever had. I don’t recommend using it too much, but it is a cool side-effect for sure.

I bought these just have around. I keep one bottle in my pack as an emergency item when I’m hiking. The bottles are small and vey lightweight, so having these with me at all times is not an inconvenience.I also keep a bottle at home just in case something happens to our water supply. Better safe than sorry. I’ll be purchasing more in the future.They are easy to use and water tastes great when you use the. They are an affordable and important item, to have on hand.

I have to simply assume these are functional. The water treatment tabs were purchased to include in our go bags. With Mother Nature angry and people being irrational seems a good time to update and restock. The bottles arrived safely. They are tiny and easy to tote. Readiness contributes to peace of mind

These area great tablets to use for emergency use. Always start with the cleanest water you can of course – like running water, not still water. It’s not going to clean bits of dirt and stuff from the water – it just kills the little baddies that can make you sick, You drink a bit of dirt you’ll live. But just get some fast moving water, preferably like off a small waterfall, and you’ll love it.

Solo sirve para 25 litros
Aunque vienen dos frascos, cada frasco cumple con una función diferente: uno desinfecta el agua y el otro le quita el color y sabor a yodo. Para cada litro de agua se deben usar 2 pastillas de cada frasco (cada frasco trae 50 pastillas), así que solo se pueden desinfectar 25 litros en total. Me habría gustado que esta información estuviera más clara antes de comprar el producto y por ello lo pongo en comentarios, pues nosotros nos fuimos con la finta de que ambos frascos eran iguales y que tendríamos 50 usos.Otra cosa que no se especifica en Amazon pero es importante es que estas pastillas no están pensadas para un uso continuo, y es algo en lo que sí se hace hincapié en las instrucciones del producto (las cuales vienen en inglés, pero pueden consultarse en español en el sitio web de la marca). Ellos dicen que no se debe usar el producto de manera continua, lo cual, de nuevo, nos perjudica a nosotros que sí pensábamos en un uso continuo.Las pastillas son muy pequeñas (como los chochos de farmacias homeopáticas) y los frascos no miden más de 6 centímetros de alto, para que tampoco esperen algo muy grande. Esto resulta práctico para traerlo en la mochila sin que ocupe espacio. A diferencia de las soluciones líquidas, las pastillas no tienen que estar en refrigeración pero sí se indica que el frasco debe estar perfectamente cerrado y que, una vez abierto, se consuma antes de un año o se deseche por cuestiones de seguridad.Por último, el tiempo de purificación del agua entre que se agregan las primeras pastillas y las segundas es de 40 minutos, algo que me parece importante a tener en cuenta.
