Water tastes so much better from this than my brita pitcher. It is smaller than I had expected but it great for 1 person and the price was good. Also it filters the water pretty fast.

I live in the basement and wanted to have a water filter down there that I could have ready for late night teas, morning coffee, or just a cup of water. When I got this filter, I cleaned it out and poured water in it. The following day there were black pieces floating in the water so I thought maybe the water filter had a leak or I missed a spot while cleaning it out.I cleaned it out for a second time and ever since I have not had any issues and the water filter has worked just fine.If you use in the fridge, it does not take up much space because I think its only about 4.5 inches wide. I have seen other filters that fit more water but they are so wide that they take up too much space in the fridge and it gets annoying.This water filter is aesthetically pleasing. As you can see in my video, it is also incredibly easy to assemble and clean. I also love the little sticker they give you to remind you when you need to change your water filter. ‘out of sight, out of mind” like they say and You can put this sticker on the front and center so you don’t forget.

Odd , but effective, design. It filters slowly, but well.Mine had a slightly misaligned lid which was easily fixed.Requires a little extra care when pouring. Filters are a bargain.

just the right size, filters super fast, I had owned the larger one and bought this as a replacement. the last one lasted YEARS. the smaller one has actually been a better choice as it’s easier to handle and filters much faster.

I chose this Pur water filtering pitcher over a Brita filter due to the fact that it claims to filter better than the Brita brand. The in-door water dispenser on my refrigerator is broken and this is a much cheaper solution than a new fridge.When the pitcher arrived I was actually surprised at how small the pitcher is as compared to other water filter pitchers I’ve used. Don’t get me wrong, it does the trick and the smaller size does allow for more room in the fridge, but also means that you absolutely have to refill the top portion upon every use.My big complaint is the tiny flap at the tip of the pour spout. It appears to be a cheap plastic flap that is held to the lid with a VERY cheap pair of plastic receiving clasps. The lid flap will fall off at any moment without any effort. It’s fallen off in my glass, it’s fallen off in my sink when refilling the pitcher and fell into my drain, it’s just terrible! This flap is truly the reason for a lower three-star rating. If it weren’t for the cheap flap I’d easily give this a four-star rating, five if the pitcher was a bit larger.Other than my complaint about the flap, the pitcher works great. The Pur filter does an excellent job of producing flavorless water to drink, filtering out all the nasty from my tap.I do recommend this water filter pitcher to you, just hope that you get a better lid than I did. Better than Brita
Tried to find a smaller Brita filter pitcher but finally gave up. Glad I did because the Pur filter pitcher is superior quality.
