This gives the perfect touch to my front yard flower bed. It’s so beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. This is a truly fantastic artwork. It’s very sturdy once you put it in the ground. Arrived midday along with another solar powered item so had only half of the sun recommended before nightfall. The photo taken was at 6:42 the following morning and it was still quite bright.The item is a bit top heavy so you’ll want to plant it deeply into whatever you plan to use it in if a potted plant (as I did) but if planting in the ground, it’ll probably be fine. A few complaints I read in other comments were on how the moon wasn’t lit. It isn’t; however, the bulb for the light is in the center of the piece. Unless the bulb is behind the moon, it can’t be lit. This wasn’t a problem for me personally as enough of the piece was lit to accomplish what I wanted – subdued light at night for our patio.After having this for a couple of weeks now, there’s been evenings when the light didn’t come on at all, followed by it working perfectly normal. While the piece is attractive, it’s been unreliable. I won’t be replacing it.

I was surprised and delighted to receive such a high quality product. I was expecting the metal moon to be flimsy as I have seen in other products, instead it is quite sturdy and very well painted. The stand is made of 3 pieces. The bottom piece has the “fork” on one end to firmly push it in the ground, with a plastic cap to protect the threaded end that screws into the middle rod. The middle section has male and female threaded ends, to fit the top and bottom rods, The male threaded end is also protected by a plastic cap. The light is heavy glass and bigger than I expected. The soral panel is a decent size and insulated; even the switch is covered in rubber to protect it from the elements. I cannot speak for how bright the light is, but given how well everything is contructed, I expect it to be bright and last a few hours. Should this not be the case, I will update my review. In conclusion, if you like the loook, get it. You can’t go wrong for the price. I actually bought two, one for me and the other for my best friend. It will make an awesome, unique birthday gift.
