Easy to Install

These are way neat. My pups and I are so much safer walking down the deck steps at night, and surprisingly these don’t attract too many moths either. It’s a bright white light that shines just on the steps. You could do only one side of your stairs, but I wanted symmetry and each entire step to be lit up. Super easy to install; I opted for Scotch outdoor tape to hold these down for windstorms. As I’m not sure if the solar lights will eventually go out (only had them a handful of months), I didn’t want to nail them down just yet. They haven’t budged, and the triangle shape not only lights the steps perfectly, but they also butt up against the deck steps snugly, so it looks like they’re meant to be there! Love these so much.

I have been very happy with these solar lights. I haven’t permanently secured them (either with the screws or double-sided tape) but haven’t had issues with them being knocked off either. I set them out to charge then just placed them on the edges of the steps, easy peasy!Our porch faces north and doesn’t get much direct light so I was worried they wouldn’t get enough light to turn on each night. They have been up about 2 and a half weeks and have come on every night. These are quite bright and are great for safety at night as well as lighting up stair decor. Highly recommend!

Great little lights. I read that some folks had trouble with them, or they never worked. Ours have worked great from the first day. Just enough light to light up outdoor stairs. Snow season is starting so I will see how they hold up in the cold but they were great all summer.

I bought an initial batch of eight to test them before committing to the quantity actually needed. I was pleasantly surprised with their performance. They provide more than adequate illumination to perform their primary purpose. The amount of light not only is it functional for providing safe lighting, but decorative as well. The size, lumens and battery are balanced such that they provide the brightness enough for the aforementioned qualities, but also well into the evening. I was up at 4 am and they were still providing 100% of their lighting. So I bought an additional 8 to round out my needs, and their is where the only negative thing I can come up with presented itself. The law of averages kicked in and revealed the quality control weakness of their manufacturer. Of the additional 8 that I ordered, one was dead on arrival. It started working upon applying a little percussion maintenance. I suppose the switch or internal battery may have had a slightly loose contact and the smack brought it back inline.

These lights far surpass my expectations. I live in Pittsburgh and it’s overcast 300 days a year lol… Yet these things still manage to get enough light to stay on almost the entire night. They start to get a little dim around 5am. Which is impressive considering the lack of sunlight here. I needed a lot to do both sides due to having two separate flights of stairs to my deck. So I decided to just put them on one side and hope they were bright enough to shine across the full step and they definitely are! These are extremely bright. They look great. Both neighbors complimented the look and one ordered a set for himself.

These are exactly what I needed for 10 year old Beatles to be able to go down the stairs at night. And for my husband not to trip over the strairs in our entry way. They charge fast, they can are easy to assembly, even on overcasted days, they are bright. They are light but sturdy – survived a few tornado warnings with heavy rain and crazy winds. Worth the money!
